Reading and Resource Lists

A guide for academic staff on Reading and Resource Lists

Using shareable URLS from Resource Lists

In Leganto you can create shareable links to your list as whole, individual sections and individual citations in your list. This can be helpful for directing students to readings for specific weeks or assignments in MyDundee without risking copyright infringement. To create a shareable link look for the 'share' symbol at the top of your list or on the right hand of the section or citation that you want to share. This will bring up some options and you can copy the links that you need.

You can then add this link to your learning materials or send to students.

The advantages are:

  • Reinforces use of resource list for module.
  • Library staff check links to ensure URLS work etc.
