From January 2025 you will see some small changes in how the Leganto reading list platform looks and functions. The updated and simplified design will prioritise interoperability with MyDundee, clarity around library workflows when submitting your lists, and improved accessibility, particularly when lists are accessed on smaller devices or for students using screen-readers.
WHAT'S NEW?
- New interface design - things have moved around a bit! Click here to learn more about how to add items to your list, and here to find out how to edit and organise your citations
- Notes editing - when you add a note for your students on a citation you can now add links and make edits to the format of the text
- Publishing - lists will now be published by default which means that (in almost all cases) anything you add to your list will be sent to the library for review and purchasing by default
- Removal of 'Recommended' item tag - Readings marked 'Recommended' been relabelled and merged with the 'Further Reading' tag
- Collections now Favourites - Collections have been renamed Favourites and now offer greater functionality for saving citations and exporting these to your lists
- Import citations from Endnote, other reference managers, or import citations via a RIS file - link your reference manager to your Leganto account, or import citations via a RIS file to easily update your list
- Better searching and filtering - you can now more easily filter citations in lists and your favourites by material type, item status and tags. You can also use filtering when using the library search tool.
- Analytics update - easily export analytics about your list at item and citation level
