The British Universities Film & Video Council is a representative body which promotes the production, study and use of moving image, sound and related media in higher education, and research. Their website includes curated BoB playlists and teaching materials on a number of different themes.

Kanopy offers online access to a wide range of films, documentaries and other video content.
To view the films on a tablet or phone, first setup an account on the website.

For off-campus access click on the large, orange "Log In to Dundee" button (and not the white "Log In" button at the top right, which refers to Kanopy account logins, rather than to authentication). Then click on "Log In to Dundee" on the page that follows.

The BFI looks after one of the largest and most important collections of film and television in the world. Watch online for free their collection of over 12,000 films that cover all aspects of British life over the last 120 years.
BFI Replay
BFI Replay is a free-to-access digital video and film archive exclusively available in UK public lending libraries. You can access this via computers located in local public libraries, such as those in Dundee Libraries.

The Moving Image Archive is Scotland's national collection of moving image and is held at the National Library. You can watch over 2,800 clips and full-length films from the collection online exploring around 100 years of Scotland's history captured by amateur and professional film-makers.
