Off campus access to databases

In this video you can see how you can sign in to the databases provided by Ebsco while you are off campus. In this example, we are using a database called ERIC. You just need to search for Econlit in the Library Search instead of ERIC.

Click on the video to see it in full screen.

Step 1

To access Econlit off campus, you have to locate it in the A to Z List of E-resources that the Library provides. You can find it under the letter E.

Step 3

In the list that appears, locate and select University of Dundee.

Step 2

Click on the drop-down menu and select "UK higher Education".

Step 4

Then you have to fill in your University of Dundee email (without the dots in the name) and password.

Step 5

After you have signed in, you should be redirected to the Econlit homepage. There, you should see on the top right corner the University of Dundee crest. That means that you have signed in successfully and you are now ready to use the database.
