The Dissertation Reading List has books to help you with your dissertations and project, including books about dissertations, research methods, doing systematic reviews and academic writing.
If you'd like to speak to a librarian about any of the topics on this guide, you can make an appointment with a member of the Academic Librarian team. Face-to-face and online appointments are available. Alternatively, if you have a question that could be answered by email, you can email academiclibrarian@dundee.ac.uk
The librarians can help with finding information for your dissertation or project, including locating relevant books, journal articles, government reports, etc.; assist with EndNote and Covidence; and can give advice on citing and referencing, including how to reference specific items. However, we can't check your full reference list for accuracy (as your assignment needs to be your own work), and we don't proof-read or give feedback on your writing.
You can find tips on academic writing on the Academic Skills Centre webpages. If you would like further help with writing after looking at the Academic Skills Centre's online advice, you can make an appointment with an Academic Skills tutor.
