| If you are doing a systematic review, a scoping review, or need to create a PRISMA chart, you'll find help on the Evidence Synthesis guide. |
This guide provides help with library research for dissertations, final year papers, and major projects. Help is also available on other webpages, and from the Academic Librarians:
- Finding articles about your topic - each subject area has a subject guide, highlighting the most useful resources for doing research on this subject. The academic librarians are also happy to help you design your search strategy.
- Keeping track of your reading - we recommend EndNote reference management software. With EndNote you can store PDFs of the articles you've read, keep track of your notes about these, and create references in your Word document.
- Citing and referencing - advise on how to cite and reference your sources, referencing styles, and tools that can assist with this.
- Academic Skills Centre - the Academic Skills Centre staff provide advice on time management, academic writing, structuring your dissertation, etc.
- Academic Librarian team - each subject area has an Academic Librarian. You can made an appointment with your librarian via https://libcal.dundee.ac.uk/appointments, or email the team at academiclibrarian@dundee.ac.uk
