If you'd like to get a better idea of the different kinds of zines out there (and maybe you'd like some of to make your own), the best way is to read some! There are lots of places to read zines for free around Scotland, including the University of Dundee's own collection. Some of these libraries house archival collections preserving zines from historical movements, others hold contemporary collections and are regularly updated with submissions from their community (and further afield.) Zine libraries sometimes hold zine-making events and open days so keep an eye out if you'd like some help with getting started.
