A guide for all new staff who teach

All the buildings and facilities might not be fully open when you join us on campus but they will be soon!

Campus Locations

The University has three key locations:

1) City Campus is in the heart of Dundee. 

2) Ninewells Campus is located 2.5 miles west of the city campus on Ninewells Avenue, approximately a 10 minute drive from the City Campus. The School of Medicine features facilities primarily used by Medical and Nursing Students. 

3) Kirkcaldy Campus borders the town of Kirkcaldy in Fife. 35 miles from Dundee, it is one of the locations for the School of Nursing & Health Sciences.

The Global Room

The Global Room is a  social space on City Campus for students to relax, meet new people and celebrate cultural events. Staff are also welcome to use the space and cafe facilities. You can find us in the old College Hall, just outside the back of the Tower Building. See the latest Global Room events

There are IT suites on all our campuses.

The Friendly Campus

Although there will be much more online learning and teaching there will be a small number staff on campus and sometimes it can be good to get out of the office!

Apart from a fantastic Library & Learning Centre and modern teaching facilities, we have lots of green space and peaceful areas to take a breath in, as well as bustling cafes, bars, a swimming pool, tennis courts and the Institute for Sports and Exercise.

Outside Spaces 

There are lots of nooks and crannies in outside spaces around the University buildings where you can take a few minutes to relax. 

Take some time away from the office on dry days and perhaps to read a book or have your lunch - or both. Take a walk around campus and you might be surprised at how many lovely locations there are.
