A warm welcome to the University of Dundee!
We're looking forward to working with you as a group of colleagues, going forward into what will be a different kind of academic year for all of us. Some of you may already be familiar with our campus and what it's like to feel part of the University of Dundee, but some of you will not have had that opportunity as yet. And others will be working remotely from the campus, and perhaps based overseas.
Teach at Dundee aims to support all of you in feeling part of the wider University and we hope that the design of this resource, with its accompanying resources and information, will help you to do this."

About this guide
The guide is aimed at all staff engaged in teaching and/or supporting learning who have recently joined the University and should be used in conjunction with the Staff Handbook provided to you by Human Resources. You'll find that this guide contains a wealth of information about everything you need to know – from the history of the institution, to professional development, to support for your wellbeing (including where to get the best cup of coffee on campus!). Whether you are an experienced lecturer, or in your first teaching role, this guide will help you discover what is unique about this University’s vision and culture, as well highlighting the extensive resources and services available to support both you and your teaching.
