JSTOR is an online collection of full text journals, generally with coverage from the first volume and up to recent years. The collections held include specialised early resources in Irish history, and pamphlet collections, such as the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Collection. A broad range of journals in academic history is also included.

This database is an international abstracting and indexing tool for research in the humanities, covering over internationally respected humanities journals and weekly magazines published in the UK and other English speaking countries, as well as quality newspapers published in the UK.

The Web of Science is a comprehensive database and citation index for all subject areas, including History. Coverage is worldwide and includes journal articles and other resources published since 1900.

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature and provides coverage of all disciplines including social science and humanities. Use the 'Find it' button to locate the full text of search results within the Library.
