Scottish traditonal music ranges from slow tunes played on the violin (fiddle) to stirring marches played by pipebands (bagpipes).

Toe tapping reels to get you dancing and folk ballads that will stir up your feelings.

You can find traditional music played all over Scotland - at concerts, in  pubs, festivals and community events are all there for you to sample.

Some bands blend the traditional with the modern to create what is known as "Celtic Rock".
