Resource Lists

A guide for academic staff on Resource Lists

Accessing Resource Lists

Resource lists can be accessed, edited and submitted for review through the Resource List website.

They can also be accessed directly from your module in MyDundee via the link contained in the Library Resources folder, however, we recommend accessing through the main Resource List website for a better user experience when creating or doing substantial edits to lists.

Login and features

We recommend logging into Resource Lists to be given access to the full functionality of the software and to also have quick access to the resource lists you already have created or have editing permissions for. Clicking on 'Guest' will allow you the option to login using the usual UoD username and password.

After logging in you will see further options available to you, such as the Help link (which gives a brief introduction to the interface), and the Cite-it! bookmark tool, which you will need to drag to your Browser toolbar.  Please note that this is only needed for resources you find outside the Library Search service.

When logged into Resource Lists, Help and Cite It! button are visible on the top right drop

Finding Resource Lists

When you login to Resource Lists and look for your list, please note that your list may be in draft format, or not yet published. In order to find, edit or create your Resource List you will need to login and select All when prompted for the following fields: Course Status, Academic Department, Subject and Publication Status.
