What is happening?

Anthology, the parent company of Blackboard, has announced that the Original course view in My Dundee will be phased out towards the end of 2026. In order to start preparing for this, all Original course view sandbox modules in My Dundee will be permanently deleted after 7th January 2026.

What does this mean?

  • Original course view sandbox modules will be deleted after 7th January and cannot be recovered. (Original course view sandboxes have a module code in the format LLC_SBXXX_D65_XXXX.) 

  • Ultra course view sandbox modules have been the standard since summer 2020, and their structure and interface differ from the Original version. (Ultra course view sandboxes have a module code in the format Sandbox_XXXXXX.) Ultra sandbox modules will not be affected at this time.

What you need to do

If there is any content in your Original sandbox that you wish to keep, please download or copy it to your Ultra sandbox module before 7th January 2026. After this date, the content will not be recoverable, so this is your only chance to preserve any important resources.
