Off campus access to databases

In this video you can see how you can sign in to the databases provided by Ebsco while you are off campus. In this example, we are using a database called ERIC. You just need to search for Medline in the Library Search instead of ERIC.

Step 1

You can access Medline off-campus from the A to Z list of E-resources under the letter M.

Then you have to fill in your University of Dundee email (without the dots in the name) and password.

Step 2

Click on the drop-down menu and select "UK higher Education".

Step 3

In the list that appears, locate and select University of Dundee.

Step 5

You should be then redirected to the homepage of Medline. If you look at the top right corner, you will notice the University of Dundee crest. That means that you are now able to access the full-text content of the database.
