Student Services' support guide for Academic School Staff and other student facing staff

Staff and Student Conduct

The University is committed to taking all reasonable steps necessary to provide a safe environment conducive to the academic, social and personal development of all students. Members of the University are therefore expected to comply with the law at all times, and to avoid behaviours that may constitute a danger to themselves and others, or to the wellbeing and reputation of the University and wider community. The University has an Equally Safe Working Group that is tasked with implementing the "Equally Safe in Higher Education Toolkit".

Equally Safe in Higher Education Toolkit - a free resource for Scottish universities working to prevent gender-based violence (GBV) on their campuses. The Equally Safe in Higher Education (ESHE) Toolkit was created at the University of Strathclyde by the ESHE Project team and was funded by the Scottish Government.  The ESHE Toolkit provides a practical collection of free materials and resources developed specifically for Scottish universities which can be used as they are or adapted to suit individual institutions.
